Worked on the Shopify/extensions-templates repository to upgrade the Checkout Extension, focusing on compatibility with the latest Shopify platform features. The project involved migrating the extension to Shopify UI Extensions and React Extensions v2025.1, as well as updating the API version to 2025-01. This technical approach ensured forward compatibility and reduced future upgrade friction for merchants using the extension. The work leveraged skills in extension development and Shopify development, with a particular emphasis on the Liquid templating language. The update set a foundation for future feature delivery by aligning the extension with Shopify’s evolving ecosystem and modern development standards.
