Over two months, contributed to astronomer/airflow and apache/iceberg-go by delivering five features and resolving four bugs focused on stability, reliability, and user experience. Improved deployment automation in Airflow by refining DbtCloudRunJob timeout logic, switching to wall-clock time for accurate deadline handling using Python and asynchronous programming. Enhanced Airflow’s UI with Monaco Editor f-string syntax highlighting and addressed scheduler crashes by updating task logging logic. In Iceberg Go, expanded S3 client configuration, introduced CLI commands for safer branch and tag management, and enabled snapshot rollback by timestamp. Work demonstrated proficiency in Go, TypeScript, backend development, and robust testing practices.
