Worked on the microsoft/VirtualClient repository to deliver two backend features focused on automation and release management. Developed and integrated the RunElevated capability into the ScriptExecutor, enabling scripts to execute with elevated privileges across PowerShell and Python environments. This required updates to unit tests to ensure cross-platform reliability and maintain consistent behavior in diverse scenarios. The work emphasized disciplined versioning, culminating in a version bump to 2.0.14 to align with release cadence. Leveraged C# for backend development, scripting, and comprehensive unit testing, resulting in improved automation flexibility and deployment readiness without introducing or addressing any major defects this month.
