Worked on infrastructure improvements for the companieshouse/confirmation-statement-api and companieshouse/psc-extensions-web repositories, focusing on security, maintainability, and deployment reliability. Delivered Terraform-based upgrades, including adjustments to load balancer listener paths, ECS service configurations, and secrets management, while introducing a read-only root filesystem to enhance security. In the psc-extensions-web project, centralized Vault provider configuration by refactoring Terraform modules, reducing duplication and configuration drift. These changes streamlined environment provisioning and improved onboarding for new contributors. Leveraged DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code principles, and languages such as HCL and Terraform to address technical debt and support scalable, consistent infrastructure across environments.
