Worked on the ublue-os/bazzite repository to deliver a targeted bootloader branding update, ensuring the GRUB configuration accurately reflected the Bazzite brand throughout the image build and installer process. Addressed branding drift by updating /etc/system-release and aligning the GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR variable, so grub2-mkconfig consistently used the correct distributor during rebases or regenerations. This work involved close collaboration and clear commit tracking, focusing on build integrity and branding accuracy rather than bug fixes. Utilized skills in CI/CD, Linux administration, and containerization, with changes implemented using Shell and YAML to maintain consistency across automated build pipelines.
