Worked on restoring and enhancing observability for the gardener/gardener-extension-shoot-cert-service repository by re-enabling Prometheus scraping, alerts, and dashboards using Helm and Kubernetes. This effort improved monitoring coverage and operational resilience, allowing for faster incident detection and troubleshooting. Additionally, contributed to the prometheus/prometheus repository by clarifying documentation around native histogram samples in PromQL, ensuring users could accurately distinguish between native and classic histogram features. Leveraged React, Markdown, and technical writing skills to align documentation with feature behavior, reducing user confusion and supporting smoother onboarding. The work focused on reliability, clarity, and production readiness across both code and documentation.
