During February 2025, contributed to the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository by developing the Kdump Remote SSH Storage feature, which enables remote collection and storage of Kdump core dumps via SSH. This work involved enhancing system configuration options using yang to allow administrators to enable remote SSH, specify SSH connection strings, and define private key paths for secure access. By facilitating remote storage, the feature improved data management and accessibility of crash dumps, reduced local storage requirements, and supported faster root-cause analysis. The implementation demonstrated skills in network device management and system configuration, focusing on reliability and maintainability for post-incident diagnostics.
