Riley enhanced the sam-goodwin/alchemy repository by improving Cloudflare queue retrieval to support greater reliability and scalability. Focusing on API development and testing with TypeScript, Riley implemented pagination to ensure all queues could be retrieved across multiple pages, addressing potential data gaps and manual intervention. The work included hardening API error handling to improve robustness during queue lookups and refining the queue data structure for better downstream analytics. Riley also developed comprehensive tests to cover both pagination and error scenarios, ensuring long-term stability. Collaboration with a co-author further strengthened code quality, resulting in a more maintainable and scalable solution.
