Worked on the pivotal-cf/kiln repository to deliver foundational CI/CD enhancements focused on reliability, security, and release efficiency. Introduced automated dependency management with Dependabot and continuous security analysis using CodeQL, integrating these tools into GitHub Actions workflows for streamlined testing and releases. Upgraded the NodeJS environment in CI pipelines via apt-get to ensure compatibility with new automation processes. Leveraged Go, YAML, and Shell scripting to configure and maintain these improvements. This work reduced manual intervention, accelerated feedback cycles, and established a repeatable, automated release process, laying the groundwork for safer deployments and easier long-term maintenance of the project.
