Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository to enhance test automation reliability by aligning test coverage with platform capabilities. Addressed a compatibility issue by updating YAML configuration files to ensure the nvgre_hash test is skipped on Cisco 8122 platforms, which lack NVGRE load balancing support. This adjustment prevented false test failures and optimized CI resource usage, maintaining meaningful test execution only on supported hardware. The solution involved network testing and careful validation to confirm the skip behavior functioned as intended. Through targeted bug fixing and platform-aware test management, contributed to improved maintainability and efficiency in the continuous integration process.
