Moyciti Volga worked on restoring reliable hardware reset functionality for the NanoPi R5S LTS platform in the DragonBluep/openwrt repository. By backporting an upstream device tree source (DTS) change and enabling gpio-keys, Moyciti added reset button support that had been missing from the OpenWrt patch set. The work involved adapting an upstream commit, aligning the patch for consistency, and verifying compatibility with existing patches. Using C and Linux kernel development skills, Moyciti improved hardware reliability and reduced user support incidents. The changes were thoroughly documented and prepared for downstream review, demonstrating careful attention to maintainability and platform stability.
