Romulo Alves focused on expanding Brazilian Portuguese localization for the Jellyfin and jellyfin-androidtv repositories, delivering two core features over one month. He implemented and completed pt-BR translations for both the Jellyfin core and Android TV platforms, translating 551 strings and ensuring consistency across platforms. Using JavaScript, XML, and the Weblate translation platform, Romulo established an end-to-end workflow that streamlined ongoing localization updates. His work enhanced accessibility and usability for Portuguese-speaking users, aligning translations to support maintainability and future updates. No major bugs were reported or fixed, as the primary engineering effort centered on localization quality and translation process improvements.
