Worked on the Leantime/leantime repository to address a critical stability issue related to PHP 8 compatibility. Focused on backend development using PHP, the main contribution involved fixing a fatal error on the Client Detail Page by refactoring how the generalComment submodule was accessed. This solution replaced dot notation with explicit array access and introduced a null guard to prevent undefined constant errors, ensuring smoother operation under PHP 8. The update also improved Blade view data handling, aligning it with new language expectations. No new features were added, as the work prioritized reliability and operational risk reduction ahead of upgrades.
