
Worked on the intel/intel-xpu-backend-for-triton repository to deliver RDNA3-ready cache modifier mapping and improved error diagnostics for HSACO linking. Developed C++ and MLIR code to map Triton cache modifiers to RDNA3 cache policy bits, enabling non-temporal and write-through caching semantics on new GPU architectures. Enhanced the dispatch mechanism to automatically support additional ISAs and families, and expanded test coverage using MLIR and Python-based regression tests. Improved reliability by capturing linker diagnostics in exceptions rather than standard error, ensuring clearer feedback for developers. Demonstrated depth in compiler design, GPU programming, and performance optimization through targeted, well-tested feature and bugfix work.
