Worked on the anomalyco/opencode repository to enhance the reliability of model detection logic, specifically targeting the Devstral model. Addressed an issue where case mismatches in API identifiers led to unreliable detection by implementing a case-insensitive comparison within the normalizeMessages function. This change reduced both false negatives and positives, ensuring consistent behavior across different environments and input variations. The solution was developed using TypeScript, leveraging its robust type system to maintain code quality. By focusing on this targeted bug fix rather than new features, the work contributed to more accurate model identification and improved the overall stability of the codebase.
