Worked on the kaltura/server repository to deliver enhancements to the Vendor Catalog Items CSV export, focusing on backend development with PHP and API design. Added new CSV headers—startTimeBuffer, endTimeBuffer, and payPerUse—and introduced optional filters to improve data accessibility for vendors. Undertook a major refactor of the VendorCatalogItemService, standardizing parameter handling and establishing default filters to improve code readability and maintainability. These changes streamlined the export flow, reduced manual data processing, and set a foundation for future features. The work emphasized robust backend practices, clear commit history, and improved the reliability of vendor-facing data exports without introducing new bugs.
