
Rohillah developed a Vsock Proxy for Root Canal within the google/android-cuttlefish repository, enabling link-layer traffic and supporting both standard and BLE link-layer ports through vsock server forwarding. Using C++ and leveraging expertise in networking, system programming, and virtualization, Rohillah designed and implemented the proxy commands and port-forwarding configurations to establish robust communication channels for link-layer data. This work improved testability and data-path isolation, allowing for more integrated testing and higher-fidelity simulations of the link-layer pathway. The solution demonstrated careful attention to code traceability and review, reflecting a focused and technically deep contribution over the course of the month.
