Romain Perez upgraded the OpenTofu dependency to version 1.11.0 within the Dockerfiles for both the runner and server components of the semaphoreui/semaphore repository. This work focused on containerization and DevOps practices, utilizing Docker and Dockerfile expertise to ensure deployment images remained consistent and compatible with downstream services. By coordinating updates across multiple components, Romain addressed environment drift and enabled access to new OpenTofu features. The technical approach involved careful version pinning and validation of deployment images, resulting in smoother deployments. Although the scope was limited to a single feature, the work demonstrated depth in managing multi-component infrastructure upgrades.
