Worked on the coralogix/cx-api-alerts repository to enhance the Notification Router API by making the notification ID field optional within the protobuf definitions. This adjustment addressed a previous limitation that required a notification ID for all alert routing scenarios, thereby increasing flexibility for clients integrating with the API. The solution maintained backward compatibility, ensuring existing workflows continued to function without disruption. Leveraging skills in API development and protocol buffers, the work was closely aligned with product requirements and tracked through linked issues for traceability. The approach demonstrated careful change management using Git and a focus on robust, maintainable API design.
