Worked on the linode/cluster-api-provider-linode repository to deliver a deterministic DNS processing order for Linode machines, addressing reliability and predictability in DNS-related operations. The solution involved sorting Linode machines by their creation timestamps so that DNS entries are processed in the order machines were created, reducing race conditions and inconsistencies during DNS updates. This backend feature, implemented using Go, improved the stability of DNS-dependent workflows and made troubleshooting more straightforward. No major bug fixes were reported during this period, with the primary focus on enhancing DNS logic. The work demonstrated solid backend development skills and attention to operational consistency.
