Developed backend infrastructure for the IP-A2-2025/Quizzy repository, focusing on features that enhance user learning experiences and system reliability. Built a flashcard progress tracking system with robust CRUD and query operations, implementing controller, DTO, mapper, model, repository, and service layers using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA. Established comprehensive unit testing for FlashcardProgress components and the PDFtoText utility, leveraging JUnit and Mockito to ensure accurate PDF-to-image conversion, error handling, and OCR processing. Prioritized test coverage and infrastructure improvements to reduce regression risk and support future scalability, with all work centered on backend development, file handling, and image processing.
