Worked on the hmcts/azure-public-dns repository to address a critical issue in DMARC configuration management. Focused on updating environment configuration files to ensure DMARC reports and failure notifications are routed to the correct distribution list, replacing the previous recipient with DMARC_DL@hmcts.net. Utilized YAML for precise configuration changes and applied DevOps best practices to maintain traceability and documentation within version control. This targeted bug fix improved email governance, reporting reliability, and operational visibility across all environments. The work demonstrated careful attention to DNS configuration details and reinforced secure, maintainable infrastructure management without introducing new features during the period.
