
Developed and delivered a synthetic monitoring and automated testing framework for the bcgov/bcregistry-sre repository, targeting GCP-based BC Registries and Online Services. Focused on enhancing observability and production readiness, the work integrated Google Cloud Functions and deployment scripts to create reproducible monitoring environments. Using JavaScript, Bash, and tools such as Puppeteer and Mocha, comprehensive tests were implemented to validate user authentication flows via BCSC and IDIR. This approach enabled early detection of issues in critical authentication workflows, supporting faster incident response and improved uptime. The solution addressed the need for robust monitoring in cloud-native, government service environments.
