Worked on the eth-cscs/alps-uenv repository to implement LAMMPS Build Variant Management, focusing on improving clarity and maintainability for high-performance computing workflows. Separated LAMMPS build configurations into distinct environments for Kokkos and GPU packages, allowing users to select specific LAMMPS builds tailored to their needs. Updated both documentation and YAML configuration files to reflect the new structure, streamlining the build process and reducing ambiguity for users deploying different LAMMPS variants. Utilized skills in build systems, configuration management, and HPC, with Markdown and YAML as primary languages, to deliver a targeted solution supporting more flexible and maintainable deployments.
