During the month, contributed a security and governance enhancement to the Shopify/rails repository by updating the Permissions Policy to include the latest standardized browser features. This work focused on improving the security posture of web applications built with Ruby on Rails by enabling granular control over browser feature access, aligning with industry security best practices. The update allows developers to manage permissions more precisely, reducing governance risk and streamlining onboarding for new contributors. Leveraging expertise in Ruby, web development, and security, the changes provided a foundation for more robust application security and improved developer experience within the Shopify/rails codebase.
