Ruchika Gupta developed a platform native driver suite for peripheral support in the zephyrproject-rtos/trusted-firmware-m repository, focusing on expanding platform capability and establishing a reusable driver layer. She ported and integrated common native drivers for xcache, lptmr, lpuart, rgpio, and TRDC from the MCUx SDK 25.09, using C programming and embedded systems expertise. This work created a consistent baseline for peripheral access across platforms, improving maintainability and reducing future integration effort. By concentrating on driver development rather than bug fixes, Ruchika laid the groundwork for accelerated feature development and streamlined peripheral integration in trusted-firmware-m environments.
