Worked on integrating the Samsung Unified Driver into the Bazzite platform, focusing on expanding hardware compatibility and streamlining device onboarding. The approach involved adding uld package installation and making targeted adjustments to the Containerfile within the ublue-os/bazzite repository, ensuring Samsung drivers could run reliably on Bazzite. Leveraged skills in Linux, containerization, and driver development, with Dockerfile as the primary language for configuration. This work reduced the need for manual driver setup and established a foundation for future driver ecosystem enhancements. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and deployment repeatability for Samsung devices.
