Worked on the microsoft/lisa repository to refactor VDPA device preparation for the Cloud Hypervisor continuous integration pipeline. The approach removed host-side setup and eliminated the _configure_vdpa_devices() workflow, shifting all VDPA provisioning into the Cloud Hypervisor CI process. This change streamlined test automation by reducing duplicative configuration and aligning local and upstream environments, resulting in faster and more reliable test provisioning. Leveraged Python for infrastructure automation and applied expertise in Linux kernel modules, including vdpa and vhost_vdpa. The work improved reproducibility, reduced maintenance overhead, and minimized divergence between LISA and upstream CI, demonstrating strong cloud infrastructure and CI/CD skills.
