Worked on hardware-software integration in the yuwata/systemd repository, focusing on improving device orientation handling for the BNCF NewBook 11. Developed and implemented a sensor configuration by adding the ACCEL_MOUNT_MATRIX entry to the 60-sensor.hwdb file, which corrected autorotation behavior and ensured alignment with the device’s product specifications. This update enhanced the reliability of orientation detection and laid the foundation for future sensor configuration improvements. The work involved device configuration, hardware integration, and system administration, utilizing plaintext for configuration management. The approach addressed a specific hardware need and contributed to more robust and adaptable sensor support within the system.
