During November 2024, Sabecasis enhanced the mulesoft/mule-wsc-connector by developing an automated test to verify the Bouncy Castle (bcprov) security provider is automatically loaded as a dependency, ensuring compatibility with Java 9 and later. This backend development work, implemented in Java, focused on strengthening the security infrastructure by reducing runtime configuration risks and improving reliability in the security stack. Sabecasis expanded test coverage for security dependencies, enabling earlier detection of provider-related regressions. The technical approach emphasized robust dependency management and safer upgrade paths, reflecting a thoughtful application of backend development and testing skills to address integration challenges.
