Worked on the mulesoft/mule-wsc-connector repository to enhance the reliability of security provider integration in Java-based backend systems. Developed and implemented an automated test in Java to verify that the Bouncy Castle security provider (bcprov) is automatically loaded as a dependency, ensuring compatibility with Java 9 and later versions. This approach reduced the risk of runtime configuration errors and improved the robustness of the security stack. Focused on backend development and testing, the work expanded test coverage for security dependencies, enabling earlier detection of provider-related issues and supporting safer upgrade paths for the connector’s security infrastructure. No bugs were reported.
