During July 2025, Sandeep Kaluva developed the Azure Terraform Best Practices CLI for the Azure/azure-mcp repository, providing a centralized command-line tool to access Terraform best practices tailored for Azure environments. He implemented the CLI in C#, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles and storing guidelines in a text-based repository to ensure easy updates and accessibility. Sandeep incorporated unit testing to verify CLI functionality and prevent regressions, enhancing maintainability and reliability. This work addressed deployment governance and reduced misconfigurations, supporting faster Terraform adoption within the team. The project demonstrated depth in CLI development, Azure integration, and test-driven engineering practices.
