Worked on enhancing reliability and secure authentication for the IBM/vpc-file-storage-mount-helper repository, focusing on resolving a critical EIT mount failure in the CHE PROD environment. Addressed the issue by updating release configurations and integrating root and intermediate certificates to establish secure TLS connections. Improved the release workflow to include version updates, ensuring robust authentication during the mounting process. Utilized skills in configuration management, DevOps, and security, with a focus on YAML for configuration and certificate management. The work delivered a production-ready fix that reinforced secure communications and contributed to the stability of file storage operations in a cloud environment.
