Worked on improving organization switching reliability in the astronomer/astro-cli repository, focusing on multi-organization workflows for users managing more than 20 organizations. Addressed a bug where the active organization could be incorrectly selected by implementing direct resolution by organization ID, bypassing reliance on paginated lists. Introduced a fallback mechanism for handling stale contexts, ensuring continued usability in edge cases. The solution leveraged Go for backend development and emphasized robust API integration and thorough testing. These changes enhanced the stability of organization switching, reduced the risk of misrouting, and contributed to a smoother user experience while lowering potential support overhead.
