Developed a new Ansible playbook for the IBM/ansible-storage-protect repository, enabling automated setup and service management of IBM Storage Protect Server instances. The work focused on standardizing deployment processes and reducing manual configuration by codifying steps in YAML, leveraging configuration management and DevOps best practices. As part of a broader strategy shift, the legacy server_config2_playbook.yml was deprecated and removed, streamlining maintenance and enforcing consistency across environments. The approach emphasized Git-based release workflows and system administration principles, resulting in faster provisioning and a reduced operational burden. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery.
