Sam developed autonomous USDC payment functionality for API access to paid data sources within the phidatahq/phidata repository. Leveraging Python and asynchronous programming, Sam enabled agent-based systems to pay for over 100 data sources, supporting enrichment, web scraping, and media generation tasks. The solution featured real-time cost tracking, per-source attribution, and a Learning Machine for spend optimization, all governed by production controls and per-member wallets. Sam validated the system through live-wallet tests, ensuring robust wallet operations and reliable cost attribution. This work demonstrated depth in API integration and data analysis, delivering automated, governed access to paid data for agent workflows.
March 2026: Implemented autonomous USDC payments for API access to paid data sources via MCP tooling, enabling agents to pay for data on Base. This unlocks 100+ paid sources for enrichment, web scraping, maps, social media, and media generation. Established end-to-end automation with real-time cost tracking, per-source cost attribution, and a Learning Machine for spend optimization, all governed by production controls and per-member wallets. Validated in live-wallet tests, delivering measurable business value and governance over paid data access.
