Saramohan Satyaram developed a time-off request editing and update notification feature for the OneCommunityGlobal/HGNRest repository, focusing on backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript. The work enabled users to edit and save their own time-off requests while maintaining robust administrative controls through refined authorization logic. Saramohan also implemented a notification system to inform relevant stakeholders of updates, ensuring transparency and timely communication. To support the new workflow, a backend fix addressed a viewing issue in the Blue Square Scheduler, enhancing reliability. The project demonstrated a focused, well-scoped engineering effort, delivering a single, cohesive feature with clear traceability and maintainability.
