During July 2025, Patis enhanced the onboarding experience for the huggingface/torchtitan repository by upgrading its README documentation. Focusing on user experience design, Patis introduced installation badges for pip and conda, and rewrote installation instructions to provide explicit, step-by-step guidance for new users. The work was implemented using Markdown and aligned with open-source documentation standards, ensuring compatibility with PyPI and conda packaging practices. While no bugs were addressed, the feature aimed to reduce user confusion and support requests by clarifying the installation process. This contribution improved documentation quality and accessibility, laying a foundation for smoother onboarding in future releases.
