Str Itaya enhanced webhook filtering in the opentofu/terraform-provider-aws repository by adding support for the REPOSITORY_NAME value in CodeBuild webhook filter groups. This feature enables repository-level filtering, allowing CI pipelines to trigger builds more precisely and avoid unnecessary executions. Str approached the task by updating the relevant Terraform provider code and documentation, ensuring seamless integration with existing AWS CodeBuild workflows. The work leveraged skills in AWS CodeBuild, webhook configuration, and markdown for documentation. Although the contribution was focused and delivered within a month, it addressed a clear need for more granular CI automation, improving pipeline efficiency and maintainability.
