Worked on the cBioPortal/cbioportal repository to enhance backend reliability by addressing a routing issue in the cache invalidation workflow. Focused on stabilizing study-specific cache management, the developer implemented a targeted bug fix that ensured the cache invalidation endpoint correctly included the '/api' namespace. This adjustment improved the consistency and traceability of API requests related to study data. Using Java and leveraging skills in API and backend development, the work involved aligning API routing conventions and delivering a clear, traceable solution. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on maintaining and refining existing infrastructure.
