Worked on enhancing the bitnami/charts repository by implementing the Matomo Archive Secrets Volume Enhancement, which introduced a dedicated matomo-secrets volume to the matomo-archive cronjob. This feature was designed to securely store and manage sensitive data during scheduled Matomo tasks, improving both data isolation and compliance with secret-management best practices. Leveraging Kubernetes and YAML, the solution integrated seamlessly with existing Helm charts, ensuring that secret handling within the cronjob workflow adhered to modern security standards. The work focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps principles, delivering stronger security controls for cron workflows without introducing new bugs during the development period.
