Worked on enhancing the Jellyfin Web repository by implementing Latvian localization for the user interface, focusing on expanding accessibility for Latvian-speaking users. Utilized front end development skills and translation expertise to add comprehensive JSON-based language support, ensuring that UI elements were accurately translated and integrated. Validated the translation workflow using Weblate, streamlining the process for future language additions and supporting ongoing internationalization efforts. The work addressed both technical and user experience aspects, enabling broader market reach and inclusivity. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering a single, business-value feature through localization and workflow validation.
