During February 2026, Viet Le developed and integrated the Cognite Functions API into the cognitedata/cognite-sdk-js repository, enabling users to create, list, retrieve, and manage serverless functions within the Cognite platform. He approached this by designing robust TypeScript interfaces and implementing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and correctness. The new API was validated end-to-end using the quickstart.ts workflow, demonstrating real-world usability and reducing friction for developers adopting serverless patterns. Viet’s work expanded the SDK’s capabilities, streamlined onboarding for Cognite Functions, and showcased strong skills in API development, integration testing, and TypeScript-based tooling.
