Developed a targeted content replacement utility for the alleyinteractive/create-wordpress-project repository, focusing on automating configuration updates and maintaining repository cleanliness. Leveraging PHP and scripting skills, introduced the replace_section_in_file function to enable precise file manipulation, allowing automated edits to configuration files without manual intervention. Enhanced repository hygiene by programmatically cleaning up the .gitignore file, removing temporary or installation-specific entries left after script execution to ensure a consistent project state. All changes were delivered in a focused, single-purpose commit, reflecting a disciplined approach to maintainability. This work demonstrated practical file manipulation techniques and contributed to scalable WordPress project automation workflows.
