Worked on the longhorn/longhorn-manager repository to introduce a configurable namespace for the share-manager pod, addressing the need for improved deployment flexibility in Kubernetes environments. This feature enables multi-tenant deployments by allowing resource isolation and better organization within cloud infrastructure. The implementation was completed in Go, following established code quality practices and ensuring traceability through a signed-off commit. By aligning with existing deployment patterns, the changes support enhanced governance and scalability for users managing multiple tenants. The work focused on practical improvements to Kubernetes resource management, leveraging expertise in Go and cloud infrastructure to deliver a targeted, maintainable solution.
