During September 2025, Semke developed a new family of date input components for the skbkontur/retail-ui repository, focusing on improving UI testing consistency and maintainability. Leveraging C# and Selenium for UI automation, Semke introduced an inheritance-based architecture by creating a BaseDateInput class, from which both DatePicker and DateRangePickerInput derive. This approach abstracted common date input logic, enabling standardized and reusable testing patterns within the react-ui-testing suite. The work addressed the need for reliable and efficient validation of date-related UI changes, laying a foundation for future enhancements and reducing maintenance overhead without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
