Developed and delivered the OneWire EDS0065 sensor integration for temperature and humidity monitoring within the mib1185/homeassistant-core repository, expanding hardware compatibility for Home Assistant users. The work involved implementing Python-based sensor integration, ensuring seamless data acquisition from the EDS0065 device, and enabling richer environmental monitoring capabilities. Collaboration was demonstrated through co-authorship, adhering to established project conventions and workflows. Unit testing was applied to validate the integration and maintain code reliability. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus placed on end-to-end feature delivery. The contribution enhanced environmental sensing options for the Home Assistant platform.
