During February 2026, Sharo developed and published a new Conan recipe for the Couchbase C++ SDK 1.2.1 in the conan-io/conan-center-index repository. This work involved defining dependencies, configuring CMake-based build steps, and establishing packaging metadata to streamline integration and distribution across platforms. Sharo addressed cross-platform build nuances, such as resolving SNAPPY usage issues on non-Windows systems, and adopted a patch-file workflow to improve maintainability. The project leveraged C++ development, CMake, and Conan package management, resulting in a robust, traceable packaging solution that aligns with Conan standards and prepares the repository for future updates and patch management.
