Worked on the openwrt/luci repository to address a reliability issue in the LuCI upgrade status display, focusing on improving the accuracy and correctness of upgrade information for users. Identified and resolved a JavaScript syntax error in the 11_upgrades.js module, which previously caused upgrade status rendering problems and user confusion. Applied precise debugging and Git-based patching techniques to ensure the fix was traceable and verifiable. This work enhanced the unattended upgrade experience by ensuring the UI accurately reflected upgrade progress, reducing potential support requests. Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript and front end development while coordinating changes across related LuCI modules.
