Worked on the winterheart/gentoo repository to deliver an updated packaging solution for the EZA 0.20.7 release. This involved creating a new ebuild that defined dependencies and build configurations, as well as updating the manifest with revised checksums and source URIs to ensure accuracy and integrity. The approach focused on improving build reproducibility and simplifying the upgrade path for Gentoo users who rely on EZA. Leveraged expertise in build systems, package management, and the Rust ecosystem, utilizing both Rust and shell scripting to streamline the packaging process and enhance release readiness for the Gentoo distribution’s user base.
